Experimenting with light is a lifetime project for me. The light is usually a deciding factor for a successful picture.
I am not always very confident in controlling the intensity of light and the highlights it creates. This project has helped to understand more how many factors can affect the look of my final images. I need to try out various situations, especially the ones where I have failed to have the result I wanted. I now have a reflector and I need to learn how to use it with trust when I need to fill in shadows.
In the woods with natural light
Into the room with the shutters closed
With the natural grey light of a cloudy day
Under artificial harsh light
Into a room with the light coming from one side from a table lamp
The sun is behold and he is under an umbrella
The sun is about to set.
With a gold reflector on the bottom of his chest
The strong sunlight is filtered by the leaves of a tree
Inside a room the afternoon light is coming from a window
Outside and in the shade
With the artificial light of my iPhone. The shadows have a very powerful and unappealing cast over his face.
The sun will set is 20 minutes
During the golden hour
